BBQ Wedding in Scarborough – Josh & Rach’s Big Day
We had the absolute pleasure of catering for Josh and Rach’s wedding this summer in the heart of North Yorkshire – and what a day it was! Set in the rolling countryside just outside Scarborough, their special celebration was all about relaxed vibes, great food, and unforgettable memories shared with around 100 of their closest friends and family.
The setting was stunning – a laid-back, festival-style tipi wedding surrounded by green fields and big skies. The couple had gone all-out with a beautifully decorated stretch tent, festoon lighting, and plenty of rustic charm. From the moment guests began arriving, we could feel the buzz of excitement in the air.
Josh and Rach chose our premium BBQ wedding menu for their big day, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. With the sunshine just about holding up and the smell of sizzling meats in the air, guests gathered around our black gazebo setup to enjoy what we do best – fresh, flavour-packed barbecue, served hot and direct from the grill.
Our spread featured a mouth-watering selection including juicy steak burgers, thick-cut pork sausages, lemon and thyme chicken thighs, and marinated veggie skewers for the plant-based guests. All of it cooked fresh on site and served alongside soft white rolls, zesty homemade coleslaw, and freshly prepared salads. There was something for everyone – and plenty of it!
You can see from the photos just how vibrant and relaxed the atmosphere was. Friends and family gathered under the tipi to hear speeches, enjoy drinks and tuck into hearty plates of food. There were no long waits or fussy formality – just good people, full plates, and happy faces.
Josh and Rach were an absolute dream to work with. From the moment they booked with us, they had a clear vision: a no-stress day where guests could eat, mingle, and enjoy the surroundings without rigid structure or formal dining. We were more than happy to deliver just that. They even let us know afterwards how many guests had commented on the food being one of the best parts of the day – something we never tire of hearing!
One thing that made this event extra memorable was how involved everyone was. People came up to the gazebo for second helpings, chatted with the team and asked questions about the food – exactly the kind of relaxed, social experience that a BBQ wedding in Scarborough brings to life.
